Bulgaria is split into two distinct halves by the majestic Balkan mountain range which runs from Bulgaria’s capital city, Sofia in the West through the country to the Black Sea in the East. It was natural to be inspired by these features when naming our wine range.
The Mount Sofia wine range captures the essence of Bulgaria with its classic winemaking heritage and also shows its modern outlook. We have carefully sourced and selected wines from both international grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to more exotic and unique grapes such as Rubin. The result is an innovative range of red and white wines at highly attractive prices.

WHITE WINES
Mt. Sofia Muskat Ugni Blanc

RED WINES
Mt. Sofia Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
The famous Bordeaux grapes have been carefully blended to make a light, fruity wine. Deep, ruby red in colour the wine is elegant with attractive flavours of crushed red berries. As with all Mt. Mt. Sofia Merlot Rubin
One of the innovations of the range this is a unique blend of Merlot and the Bulgarian Rubin – a cross between Nebbiolo and Syrah. This wine is bright and lively in colour with spiced black fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with soft chewy tannins it reveals rich bramble fruit flavours making it a pleasure to enjoy as an everyday wine with or without food.
